Nashville. New Orleans. Chicago. The list of great music towns doesn’t include Cincinnati, but Sean Rhiney is trying to get it there. The 1991 graduate created the Midpoint Music Festival in September to bring together local talent and music industry professionals.
Spread around 12 venues in Cincinnati and two Kentucky cities, more than 150 artists performed at the three-night event, coming from as far away as London, Canada, New York and Texas. Rhiney, who’s a musician and a lawyer, estimates 9,000 people attended.
