Wondering what your kids are up to while they are away at school? Well keeping up with them is now as easy as turning on your computer. The office of parent and constituent relations launched a new web site in April. A virtual clearinghouse of information, the web site literally puts everything you wanted to know about the University right at your fingertips, from up-to-the-minute news, calendar events and class schedules to information on admissions, orientation, commencement, gift-giving and the ever-important financial aid. There are even links that let you check out the weather in Cincinnati and access lists of Queen City restaurants and hotels—just in case you want to drop by for a visit. Dianne Fisk, director for the University’s office of parent and constituent relations, says the idea for the web site came from parents. “The information was available before,” she says, “but you had to go to a lot of different places to find it.
