More than 500 people came back to campus to connect with old friends, revisit some familiar sites, catch the Musketeers in action at a game and, most importantly, get a glimpse of the future of Xavier University during Alumni Weekend on November.
The event, which has previously been held in June, was switched to the fall this year so the activities could be held during a time when students were around and campus was abuzz with activity.
Among the activities alumni took part in during the three-day event were a pig roast, men’s basketball game, club football game and tour of all the construction on campus.
A number of social events took place under a large, heated tent in the middle of the residential mall just outside of the dorms. And many of the classic events were also held, including a pasta dinner with Father LaRocca, beers at Dana’s, faculty receptions and more beer at Dana’s.
