It was on its way out, but made a surprise comeback thanks to the protests of students and alumni. However, The Musketeer is back on the block and this time its future looks grim. The yearbook was cancelled in 2004 due to rising costs and lack of interest, but the University gave it one more year to prove its mettle. Unfortunately, the latest edition sold only about 100 copies.
Various campus constituents helped fund the 80-year-old-publication, but since the annual relies on student sales, the University found this unsustainable. The final edition of the yearbook commemorates the 2004-2005 school year. May it rest in peace.
