Harry Truman was president. Gary Cooper won an Academy Award for “High Noon.” And at Xavier, a new office known as the annual fund was created. The year was 1952. Truman and Cooper have long since passed, but the annual fund, like Xavier itself, is stronger and more ambitious than ever. The 50th anniversary celebration includes three lofty goals: raising $5 million overall, raising $3.4 million in unrestricted gifts, and having more than 11,000 alumni to donate at somelevel. You can make your gift online at www.xavier.edu/giving. Thank you.
